2nd Place USA Bassin Lucas Oil Tournament Lake of the Ozarks

We ended up taking 2nd place in the Lucas Oil Open on Lake of the Ozarks. The day started out with us running about 8 miles up the lake in Chilly temps. We ended up having a limit at the first spot we stopped to fish. The bite was really fast and furious and by about 9 o'clock I was culling. Most of the fish came on a jig and a couple of them came on a topwater spook. The best bite was on the corners of the docks. The fish on the jig were in that in between range around 7 to 15 feet deep. We ended up getting back 15 minutes early to weigh-in because we didn't want to end up late. Old Blue had been having some issues with starting throughout the day so we didn't want to chance it. We held onto the lead till the very end when one team managed to beat us out by just a little bit. The pay was pretty good because we each got out with a couple hundred dollars in winnings which helps to cover the weekend.
